Bassano del Grappa: The Heart of Tradition and Culture





Old Bridge (Ponte degli Alpini)



This famous wooden bridge, designed by architect Andrea Palladio in the 16th century, is the symbol of Bassano del Grappa. It crosses the Brenta River and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It is also a place rich in history, linked to the Alpini and memories of World War I and II.

City Museum of Bassano del Grappa



Located in the San Francesco Convent complex, the Museo Civico is one of the oldest in the Veneto region. It houses an important collection of artworks, with paintings by Jacopo Bassano and Antonio Canova, as well as an archaeological and historical section that tells the rich history of the city.

Poli Grappa Museum



A unique experience to learn all about grappa, the iconic distillate of Bassano. The museum, located near the Ponte Vecchio, offers an interactive tour that tells the history, production and traditions related to this product. At the end of the visit, it is possible to participate in a tasting.

Castle of the Ezzelini and Civic Tower
The Castello degli Ezzelini is an ancient fortified complex that offers a panoramic view of the city. Inside are the remains of ancient walls and a garden. A few steps away, the Civic Tower is another vantage point from which you can admire Bassano from above.
